Competitive Qualification Standards

Grade B Qualifying Times

(Revised 30 September 2005)

The Grade B Standard can be achieved in any of the following ways:

1. Achieve the 100m Freestyle qualifying time + either 50m Backstroke or 50m Breaststroke or 50m Butterfly.
2. Achieve the 100m Individual Medley qualifying time + either 50m Backstroke or 50m Breaststroke or 50m Butterfly.
3. Achieve both the 100m Freestyle and the 100m Individual Medley qualifying times.

At Grade C galas, swimmers must swim a minimum of 2 events and a maximum of 4 events.

Swimmers who achieve the Grade B standard can no longer compete at Grade C competitions.
